Adventures at Harmony Hill

It was almost bedtime. David, Ellie, and Reva were playing with Lego bricks in the living room.

David was making a boat, while Ellie was making a castle. Little Reva was making a car, but it didn’t look much like a car.

“That’s a beautiful castle, Ellie,” said David to Ellie.

“Thank you,” she said, beaming a smile.

Reva, who was a little sleepy, yawned and looked at the castle. As four-year-olds can be naughty sometimes, Reva threw himself at Ellie’s castle, and CRASH!!! It came tumbling down.

“Stop!” cried Ellie.

But Reva continued to pull the bricks apart. They were both making a big fuss when David said, “SHH…SHH…SHUSH!!!”

“No fights are allowed on Harmony Hill,” he continued.

“Harmony Hill?” asked Ellie and Reva at the same time.

“Yes, Harmony Hill,” he replied. “If you fight, you might wake up the giantess that guards the hill, and she’ll send us off to bed.”

“I don’t want to wake the giantess,” said Reva.

“Neither do I,” said Ellie.

“Then we must make a plan,” said David in a serious voice. “Ellie, you’ll help Reva make a rocket car,” he continued.

“We'll all ride in the car to get to your castle. Then we’ll help you build it back up.”

It sounded like a great idea to everyone, so they set to work at once.

In the end, Reva’s car was splendid, and Ellie’s castle was grand. Reva loved his car, but best of all, he loved that they had made it together.

It was bedtime. They marched off to sweet dreams after their adventures on Harmony Hill.

The End.
