LATE
Slow Paced
He raced to the classroom through the silent playground. Not a student was in sight. The metallic windows creaked. He could hear the mild rustling of papers. Students looked up as the sound of his erratic footsteps filled the hallway. The walls started to spin as he approached the frowning headmaster. Stumbling to his seat, he could hear the animated whispers of his classmates as their eyes met his in bewilderment. As he sat down, the bell jangled. The test was over!
Fast Paced
He made his way to the classroom, racing through the playground. After he explained himself to the headmaster, he was allowed to join the test. As soon as he sat down, the bell rang. The test was over.
What I learnt: Pacing can be controlled by the use or omission of sensory cues and pauses.
