He tied his shoelaces and stood shoulders square, shifting his eyes from person to person as though he were observing lifeless objects. Ignoring the nods of acknowledgement, he turned and faced the wall. Then, he strolled towards a young lady, whispered in her ear, and walked on. He glanced back to witness his triumph and smirked in satisfaction at her confusion.
