Slow-paced
The toddler lowered his head gently to his mother’s shoulders. Enjoying the soft breeze and comforted by the steady motion, he cooed. With every step, his head bobbed and the bunch of plastic keys in his firm grasp jangled, much to his delight. Brilliant lights and the movement of the vast world left him stunned, and he held his drowsy eyes half opened. Slowly, every step led further off the ground to the inside of a long metal box with seats arranged in two rows and a narrow passage in between. Pulled away from his mother’s shoulder, he was placed on her lap. This started a gentle protest that succeeded as he was returned to her shoulders. Thereafter, he nodded off to a peaceful slumber.
Fast-paced
The toddler was carried to the bus where he fell asleep.
