Wearying Worry: Character Study

He chewed on his nails, eyes bulging and frequently drifting to the clock. Suddenly, his fingers dropped to the table, tapping no definite rhythm. He pushed his chair backward, rose briskly and smoothed out his unruffled coat. Half running to the windows, he peeped through the blinds. Then he paced back and forth before settling on going outside. After turning the key three times, he sighed, rested his head on the door and locked the door again.

What I learnt: Character can be defined by actions without the use of adjectives.
